A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MAR - 4 2003
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO APPROVING A TREE REMOVAL F49PF ATASC
TO ALLOW THE REMOVAL OF TWO NATIVE WALNUT TR ES PLANNIN
LOCATED AT 5516 TUNITAS AVE.
(TRP 2003-0027/THIBEAULT)
WHEREAS, an application for a Tree Removal Permit has been received from, Larry
Thibeault, 7400 Balboa Rd., Atascadero, CA 93422, to allow the removal of two native walnut trees
located at 5516 Tunitas Ave.; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed project is located within the Medium Density Residential land use
designation of the City of Atascadero's General Plan Land Use Diagram; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed project is located in the Residential Multi Family (RMF -10) zoning
district; and,
WHEREAS; the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed Tree Removal application on
March 4, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. in the Rotunda Room of City Hall located at 6500 Palma Avenue and
considered testimony and reports from staff, the applicants, and the public; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission takes the following actions:
SECTION 1. Findings for Approval of Tree Removal Permit. The Planning Commission
finds as follows:
The tree is dead, diseased or injured beyond reclamation, as certified by a tree condition
report from an Arborist;
On motion by Commissioner Kelley, and seconded by Commissioner Porter, the foregoing resolution
is hereby adopted in its entirety by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners Kelley, Porter, Fonzi, Bentz, Jones, O'Keefe, Beraud
