RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
A. J. DIANI CONSTRUCTION, INC.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WEST FRONT STREET OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY OF ATASCADERO BID NO. 94-05
WHEREAS, the West Front Street Overlay Project is identified in
5-year Capital Improvement Plan and current capital budget
adopted by the City Council of the City of Atascadero,
California; and
WHEREAS, on August 30, 1994 sealed bids were publicly opened for
the West Front Street Overlay Project and A.J. Diani
Construction, Inc. was found to be the lowest responsible bidder;
and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served
by construction of the West Front Street Overlay Project base bid
and additive nos. 1 through 3 .
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve as follows:
1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement
with A.J. Diani Construction, Inc,. for the construction
of the West Front Street Overlay Project in the total
amount of $1.12,094 . 00.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to make minor
corrections or modifications of a mathematical or
clerical nature.
3 . The City Engineer is hereby authorized to approve
contract change orders up to 10% of the contract amount.
4. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to release and
expend monies from the West Front Street Overlay grant
funds; and issue warrants to comply with the terms of
this agreement.
On a motion by Councilperson Luna seconded by
Councilperson Highland the foregoing Resolution is
hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:

Highland, the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES : Councilmembers Highland, Johnson, Luna and Mayor Bewley
NOES : None
ABSENT: Councilman Carden
