RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING THREE (3) MEMBERS TO THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO'S PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Chapter 9 of title 2 of the Atascadero
Municipal Codes establishing the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, due to expiring terms and the vacation of one unexpired term, there
does exist three openings on the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in appointment to the
Planning Commission have been published and posted; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did receive thirteen (13) applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on August 30, 1994, interview and consider
the candidates for appointment to the Planning Commission and did then vote for
specific nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero does resolve to
appoint the following citizens to a four (4) year term each expiring on September 1,
1998:
Robert Johnson and Roger Miller
AND FURTHER, the City Council does hereby appoint the following citizen to
serve an unexpired term for one (1) year; said term to expire September 1, 1995:
Michael Messer
On motion by Councilperson Luna, seconded by Councilperson Johnson, the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Carden, Highland, Johnson, Luna and Mayor Bewley
NOES: None
