RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DESIGNATING A HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT 8100
EL CAMINO REAL
WHEREAS, Section 4-2. 1302 et seq. of the Atascadero Municipal
Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the location of
Handicapped parking spaces, and to place and maintain appropriate
signs or markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic committee has recommended that
establishing a handicapped parking space at the location described
on attached Exhibit "A" will be a benefit to the handicapped
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero
directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate
signs or markings indicating a handicapped parking space as listed
above.
On motion by Councilmember Borgeson, and seconded by
Councilmember Luna, the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Borgeson, Luna, Bewley and Mayor Nimmo
NOES: None
ABSENT: One Seat Vacant
