RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING REVISED
CITY FACILITIES POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND FEES
WHEREAS, the Government Code provides that fees may be collected for City
parks and recreation facilities and activities; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to establish user fees and deposits, which cover the
cost of providing services requested; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish written policies and procedures for the
use/rental of City facilities; and
WHEREAS, the revised facilities policies, procedures and fees (including
admission fees to the Charles Paddock Zoo) shall be as proposed in Exhibit "I" (filed
under separate cover with the City Clerk's Office); and
WHEREAS, the City Facilities, Policies, Procedures and Fees shall become
effective immediately upon adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Atascadero does hereby Resolution NO. 146-93, superseding Resolution Nos. 122-93,
101-91 and 38-88 (Fees for Usage of Recreation Facilities and Written Procedures for
Facility Rental) and Resolution No. 27-87 (Establishing Charles Paddock Zoo
Admission Fees).
On motion by Councilperson Borgeson and seconded by Councilperson Luna,
the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Bewley, Borgeson, Luna and Mayor Nimmo
NOES: None
ABSENT: One Seat Vacant
