A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX-DEFAULTED LAND
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO. 055-431-004
WHEREAS, the real property located adjacent to Graves Creek Reservation No.
1 on Lucia Road in the City of Atascadero, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, also referred to by Assessor's Parcel No. 055-431-004, is subject to the
Power of Sale for the nonpayment of delinquent taxes; and
WHEREAS, said real property is now vacant and unused; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atascadero desires to acquire said real property through
"Chapter 8 Sale" (Sale of Agreement) in accordance with the provisions of Division
1, Part 5, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Atascadero as follows:
1 . The City Council approves the Agreement to Purchase Tax-Defaulted Land for
the above-said real property referred to as Assessor's Parcel No. 055-431-004.
2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to execute all necessary
documents related to said purchase and to submit said documents to the
County of San Luis Obispo.
On motion by Councilmember Nimmo, seconded by Councilmember Luna the
foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Nimmo, Luna, Borgeson, Bewley and Mayor Kudlac
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
