ADDENDUM #ITO
A COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO AND THE CITY OF AAcrcade r0 FOR JOINT PARTICIPATION
IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM, THE
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM, AND THE EMERGENCY
SOLUTIONS GRANT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2021 THROUGH 2023
THIS ADDENDUM #1 is made and entered into this day of _ 2020,
by and between the County of San Luis Obispo, a political subdivision " �o�f the State
of California, hereinafter called "County," and the C-,�-y or, A{p5CA&(0a
municipal corporation of the State of California, located in the County of San Luis
Obispo, hereinafter called "City;" jointly referred to as "Parties."
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, on July 7, 2020, County and City entered in a Cooperation Agreement for
Fiscal Years 2021 — 2023 as required by Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974, as amended, (hereinafter the `.Act") to govern the administration of funds provided
by the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Act, and
Emergency Solutions Grant Programs; and
WHEREAS, County and City desire to execute this Addendum #1 in order to
incorporate language to satisfy the requirements in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development Notice CPD -20-03.
NOW, THEREFORE, the County and City agree as follows:
1. Recitals. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by this
reference.
2. Amendment to Cooperation Agreement: Section VLA of the Cooperation Agreement
is hereby amended to read:
A. General. The Parties agree to take all actions necessary to assure
compliance wish the urban county's certifications required by section
104(b) of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended, regarding Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964,
the Fair Housing Act, affirmatively furthering fair housing, Section
109 of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 of Title 11 of the
Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975,

and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, the
National Environmental Policy Act of 1969; the Uniform Relocation
Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act of 1970; and other
applicable laws.
3. Continuing Agreement. Except as modified herein, all terms and conditions of the
Cooperation Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement effective as of the
date stated above.
