IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM, THE
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM, AND THE EMERGENCY
SOLUTIONS GRANT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2018 THROUGH 2020
THIS ADDENDUM #1 is made and entered into this day of . 2020,
by and between the County of San Luis Obispo, a political subdivision of the State
of California, hereinafter called "County." and theO,1.1 o= Mascodoro , a
municipal corporation of the State of California, located in th my of San Luis
Obispo, hereinafter called "City;" jointly referred to as "Parties."
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2017, County and City entered in a Cooperation Agreement for
Fiscal Years 2018 — 2020 as required by Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974, as amended, (hereinafter the "Act") to govern the administration of funds provided by the
Community Development Block Grant. HOME Investment Partnerships Act. and Emergency
Solutions 'rant Prograills, ai}d
WHEREAS, County and City desire to execute this Addendum #I in order to incorporate
language to satisfy the requirements in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Notice CPD -20-03.
NOW, THEREFORE, the County and City agree as follows:
1. Recitals. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by this
reference.
2. Amendment to Cooperation Agreement: Section VI.A of the Cooperation Agreement is
hereby amended to read:
A. General. The Parties agree to take all actions necessary to assure
compliance with the urban county's certifications required by section
104(b) of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended, regarding Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964,

of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974;
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 of Title II of the
Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975,

and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1963, the
National Rnvnonmcntal :Act of 19641: the Uniform Reloc,
Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act of 1970; and other
applicable laws.
3. Continuing A„>reement. Except as modified herein, all terms and conditions of the
Cooperation Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF; the parties have executed this Agreement effective as of the
date stated above.
