A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO DESIGNATING STEVEN J. SYLVESTER, RCE 29743,
AS THE CITY ENGINEER IN THE ABSENCE OF THE STAFF CITY ENGINEER
WHEREAS, State Statutes and the Atascadero Municipal Code
delegate specific duties to be performed by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Greg Luke, the current City Engineer, has submitted
his resignation effective January 1, 1993, and is taking occasional
leave time in the interim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atascadero is in need of having the
services of a City Engineer in the absence of Mr. Luke;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Atascadero as follows:
1. Designate Steven J. Sylvester, RCE 29743, as the Acting City
Engineer in the absence of Greg Luke prior to January 1, 1993,
and as the City Engineer subsequent to January 1, 1993, until
such time as a permanent City Engineer is hired.
2. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon
passage.
On motion by Councilperson Borgeson, seconded by Councilperson
Luna, the foregoing resolution is passed on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Bewley, Borgeson, Kudlac, Luna and Mayor
Nimmo
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: November 10, 1992
