RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE CITY'S
PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council had adopted Ordinance No. 101
establishing the City's Parks & Recreation Commission and has
subsequently amended Ordinance No. 101 by adopting Ordinance Nos.
205 and 209; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk held a recruitment soliciting interest
in appointment to the Parks & Recreation Commission during the
month of June 1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on July 7, 1992, interview and
consider thirteen applicants and appoint five members to the Parks
& Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, there now exists one vacancy as a result of a
resignation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on October 27, 1992, consider
seven candidates still interested in appointment to the Parks &
Recreation Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero
does resolve to appoint Ken Meyer to fill an unexpired term on the
Parks & Recreation Commission, said term to expire in June of 1994;
On motion by Councilperson Kudlac and seconded by
Councilperson Bewley, the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety on the following roll call voter
AYES: Councilmembers Bewley, Kudlac and Mayor Nimmo
NOES: Councilmembec Luna
ABSENT: Councilmember Borgeson
