A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO APPOINTING FIVE (5) MEMBERS
TO THE CITY'S PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, The City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 101
establishing the City's Planning Commission and has subsequently
amended Ordinance No. 101 by adopting Ordinance No. 200; and
WHEREAS, Due to four (4) expiring terms and the vacation of
one (1) unexpired term, there exists (5) five openings on the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Public advertisements soliciting interest in appoint-
ment to the Planning Commission have been published and posted; and
WHEREAS, The City Clerk did receive fourteen ( 14) applications
for consideration; and
WHEREAS, The City Council did, on August 20, 1992, interview
and consider thirteen ( 13) of those candidates for appointment to
the Planning Commission and did then vote for specific nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council does resolve to appoint the
following two (2) citizens to four-year terms on the Planning
Commission:
Dennis Lochridge
Jim Edwards
two (2) citizens to a three-year term on said commission:
Jim Berger
Roger Miller
and one ( 1) citizen to a two-year term on said commission:
Harold Carden, III
On motion by Councilmember Luna and seconded by Councilmember
Kudlac, the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety
on the following roll call votes
AYES: Councilmembers Borgeson, Bewley, Kudlac, Luna and Mayor
Nimmo
NOES: None
