RESOLUTION NO. 33-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING (1) MEMBER TO THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, one vacancy has been created on the City Council due
to the resignation of Councilman George Molina, effective March
26, 1987; and
WHEREAS, at a special meeting held on Monday, March 30, 1987 ,
the City Council determined to fill said vacancy (in accordance
with Govt. Code Sec. 36512) by Council appointment; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in ap-
pointment to the City Council have been published; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive 12 applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on April 15, 1987, interview
and consider 12 candidates for appointment and, subsequently,
did vote for specific nominations to fill said vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve to appoint CHARLES E. BOURBEAU to the City Council for
the remainder of a term which will expire on June 7 , 1988 .
THE COUNCIL DOES FURTHER RESOLVE that this resolution shall
take effect immediately.
On motion by COUNCILMAN HANDSITY and seconded by COUNCIL-
WOMAN NORRIS , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMEERS EORGESON, HANDSITY, NORRIS AND MAYOR MACKEY
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
