A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 14814 of the Government Code and
Section 10342 of the Public Contract Code, the City Council for the
City of Atascadero does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement,
Department of General Services of the State of California to
purchase materials, supplies and equipment for and on the behalf of
the City of Atascadero, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in
connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Atascadero.
FURTHERMORE, this resolution shall remain in full force and
effect unless and until such time as it is amended or rescinded by
action of the City Council.
On motion by Councilmember Borgeson, seconded by Councilmember
Lilley, the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety
on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Nimmo, Dexter, Borgeson, Lilley and Mayor
Shiers
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
