RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO AMENDING THE ANNUAL SPENDING LIMITS
FOR FISCAL YEARS 1987-88 THROUGH 1990-91
WHEREAS, Proposition 111 revises the methodology used to
calculate Annual Spending Limits, and
WHEREAS, The City of Atascadero must select the most appro-
priate criteria to be used in calculating the new limits;
WHEREAS, Recalculating the City of Atascadero' s spending
limits from the new base year of 1987-88 increases our current
spending limit,
THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Atascadero:
Section 1. That the City of Atascadero elects to use the
following criteria for the following fiscal years, for the pur-
poses of revising the City' s Annual Spending Limits:
FY 87-88 - City Population and Per Capita Income;
FY 88-89 - City Population and Per Capita Income;
FY 89-90 - County Population and Per Capita Income;
FY 90-91 - County Population and Per Capita Income;
Section 2. That the revised Annual Spending Limits are
calculated as follows:

Section 3. That a judicial action or challenge must be
commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this
Resolution.
Section 4. Documentation used in determining the Annual
SpendingLimitsis available to the public in the Office of the
Administrative Services Director, Administration Building, Room
203, 6500 Palma Avenue, Atascadero, CA.

On motion by Councilmember Nimmo , and seconded by Coun-
cilmember Lilley , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted
in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Borgeson, Dexter, Lilley, Nimmo and
Mayor Shiers
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
