A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING TWO (2) MEMBERS TO THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO TRAFFIC COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 112
establishing the City Traffic Committee; and
WHEREAS, due to expiring terms, two (2) vacancies have
occurred on the City Traffic Committee, and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in
appointment to the Traffic Committee have been published and
posted; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did receive four (4) applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on January 17, 1991, interview
and consider four candidates for appointment to the Traffic
Committee and did then vote for specific nominations .
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does resolve to appoint the
following citizens to the Traffic Committee:
Frederick Potthast to a one-year term expiring on January 17,
1992; and
Marjorie Mackey to a two-year term expiring on January 17,
1993 .
On a motion by Councilperson Dexter and seconded by
Councilperson Nimmo the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Shiers, Dexter, Nimmo and Mayor Lilley
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: January 22, 1991
