RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERD
AMENDING RESOLUTION 10-90v ADOPTING A SALARY/
CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS FOR
MID-MANAGEMENT/PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES
BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . Resolution 10-90 is hereby amended as follows:
1 . Section 1 . 1 is amended to read as follows: "Base
salaries in effect on 30 June 1990 shall be increased
by 5.5% effective 1 July 1990" .
2. Section 1 .2 is deleted in its entirety and replaced as
follows: "An additional $25.00 per month will be added
to the base salaries in effect on 1 July 1990, in lieu
of the Cafeteria Plan" .
3. Section 3. 1 is amended to read in part as follows:
"Each employee will receive forty-eight (48) hours of
Administrative Leave which will vest as of July 1
annually- "
4. Section 4.2 is added , to read as follows:
"The City shall pay the employee monthly contribution
(9% of base salary) for those sworn employees receiving
the enhanced public safety retirement (2% at 50) ,
effective 1 July 1990.
5. Section B is deleted in its entirety and is replaced as
follows:
"Section B. Sick Leave Pay-Back
8. 1 When an employee terminates employment in good
standing , and after five (5) years of continuous
service, he shall be paid one-half of his accumulated
Sick Leave. "
6. A new Section 11 shall be added to read as follows:
"Section 11 . Tuition Reimbursement .
11 . 1 The City shall reimburse an employee up to
$400.00 per fiscal year for books, tuition and related
educational expenses for attending college or other
professional training , provided the coursework is job-
related , and the employee received passing grades. "
Section 2. These amendments shall be effective July 1 , 1990.

On motion by Councilperson Dexter and seconded by
Councilperson Nimmo the foregoing resolution is
hereby adopted in its entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Shiers, Borgeson, Nimmo, Dexter and Mayor Lilley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
