RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING THREE (3) MEMBERS TO THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, due to expiring terms, three (3) vacancies have
occurred on the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No . 101
relating to the establishment of a City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No . 200
amending Section 2-9.02 of the Atascadero Municipal Code as it
relates to terms of office for members of the Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in
appointment to the Planning Commission have been published and
posted ; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did receive nine (9) applications
for consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did , on August 23, 1990, interview
and consider nine candidates for appointment to the
Planning Commission and did then vote for specific nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does resolve to appoint
J. Donald Hanauer to the Planning Commission for a three
(3) year term beginning September 1 , 1990 and shall expire on
September 1 , 1993;
AND FURTHER! the City Council does resolve to appoint
Martin Kudlac and Robert E. Johnson to
the Planning Commission for four (4) year terms each beginning
September 1 , 1990, and shall expire on September 1 , 1994.
On motion by Councilperson Dexter and seconded by
Councilperson Borgeson , the foregoing resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety by the following vote:
AYES: Councilpersons Shiers, Nimmo, Dexter, Borgeson and Mayor Lilley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: August 23, 1990
