RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
SETTING AN APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL
PERIOD JULY 1 , 1990 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1991 .
WHEREAS, Section 7900 of the Government Code, as added by
Chapter 200 of the Statutes of 1980, Division 9, provides for the
effective and efficient implementation of ARticle XIIIB of the
California Constitution; and
WHEREAS, Section 7901 and 7913 of Chapter 1205, provides
that each year the governing body of each local jurisdiction
shall , by resolution, establish its appropriations limit at a
regularly scheduled meeting ; and
WHEREAS, the base year appropriation limit for Fiscal year
1980-81 has been recalculated , as set forth in Resolution Number
47-88; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge shall only be
commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this
resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Atascadero City
Council does hereby set the appropriations limit for the fiscal
period July 1 , 1990 through June 30, 1991 as $5,350,491 .
Documentation used in determination of the appropriations limit
is available to the public in the office of the Administrative
Services Director , Administration Building , 6500 Palma Ave. , Room
208, Atascadero, CA.
On motion by Councilman Nimmo and seconded by Councilman Dexter
the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety
on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Shiers, Borgeson, Dexter, Nimmo and Mayor Lilley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
