RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO DESIGNATING A STOP INTERSECTION
FOR BOTH DIRECTIONS OF SAN ANSELMO AVENUE
AT MONTEREY ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 4-2 . 801 et seq, of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to
determine the location of STOP intersections , and to place
and maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating the
same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has
recommended that establishing STOP intersections for both
directions of travel on San Anselmo Avenue at Monterey
Road will improve a potentially hazardous traffic
situation ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Atascadero directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and
maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating STOP
intersections at the location listed above .
On a motion by Councilman Nimmo and seconded by
Councilman Dexter ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote :
AYES : Councilmembers Shiers, Borgeson, Dexter, Nimmo and Mayor Lilley
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
