RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO DESIGNATING A STOP INTERSECTION
ON TRAFFIC WAY AT THE EXIT OF THE CITY YARD
WHEREAS, Section 4-2 . 801 et seq, of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to
determine the location of STOP intersections , and to place
and maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating the
same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has
recommended that establishing a STOP intersection on
Traffic Way at the exit of the City Yard will improve
a potentially hazardous traffic situation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Atascadero directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and
maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating STOP
intersections at the location listed above .
On motion by Councilwoman Borgeson , and seconded by
Councilman Shiers ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote :
AYES : Councilmembers Shiers, Borgeson, Dexter, Nimmo and Mayor Lilley
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
