HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 70-90 RESOLUTION NO. 70 -90 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO SUBMIT TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS FOR CONSIDERATION OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SB-300 PROGRAM WHEREAS, The City has identified potentially eligible projects for inclusion in the SB-300 program; and WHEREAS, The City has the ability to provide matching funds raised from local sources in compliance with the SB-300 program; and WHEREAS, It is in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare that the City of Atascadero construct the proposed projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to submit the transportation projects listed in attachment "A" for consideration of approval and Sate participation under the SB-300 program. Construction of a low water road connection between State Highway 41 and Carmelita Road. 2. Construction of Portal Road from its existing southerly terminus to San Gabriel Road. 3. Complete the construction of Amapoa Avenue between Portola Avenue and Curbaril Avenue including curb, gutter, and sidewalk, 4. Construct a southbound left turn lane and a northbound right turn lane on E1 Camino Real at the entrance to Atascadero State Hospital. 5. Widen the Santa Lucia Road bridge across Graves Creek. 6. Widen the bridge and realign the traffic lanes at Santa Lucia Road bridge over a tributary of Graves Creek. 7. Construct a bridge on Llano Road over a tributary of Graves Creek. 8. Construct Lewis Avenue bridge over Atascadero Creek.
