RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO DESIGNATING A STOP INTERSECTION
ON VALDEZ AVENUE AT CAYUCOS AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 4-2 . 801 et seq, of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to
determine the location of STOP intersections , and to place
and maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating the
same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has
recommended that establishing a STOP intersection on
Valdez Avenue at the intersection with Cayucos Avenue
will improve a hazardous traffic situation .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Atascadero directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and
maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating a STOP
intersection at the location listed above .
On motion by Councilwoman Mackey J. and seconded by
Councilwoman Borgeson ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote :
AYES : Councilmembers Mackey, Borgeson, Lilley, Shiers and Mayor Dexter
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
