HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 51-89 RESOLUTION NO. 51-89 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO ESTABLISHING A BUS LOADING ZONE ON EL CAMINO REAL WHEREAS , Section 4-2 . 1205 et . seq. of the Atascadero Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the location of Bus Loading Zones , and to place and maintain appropriate signs and/or markings indicating the same; and WHEREAS , the Atascadero Traffic Committee has recommended the establishment of a Bus Loading Zone on E1 Camino Real in front of 5570 El Camino Real ; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that Greyhound Bus service will be provided from this location and the establishment of a Bus Loading Zone will provide for the safety of both the traveling public and patrons of Greyhound. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating a Bus Loading Zone in the location specified above . On motion by Councilman Mackey ,and seconded by Councilman Borgeson ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote : AYES : Councilmembers Mackey, Borgeson, Shiers, Lilley and Mayor Dexter NOES : none ABSENT : none ADOPTED: 6-27-89 ATTEST : BOYC C .
