A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING TWO MEMBERS TO THE
BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Title 8 relating to
the establishment of a Building and Construction Board of
Appeals'; and
WHEREAS, two vacancies have occurred due to resignations;
and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in
appointment to the Board of Appeals have been, published; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive five applications and
did, on September 19, 1988, interview and consider the five
candidates and did vote for specific nominations for appointment
to the Board of Appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve to make the following two (2) appointments to the Board
of Appeals for the duration of unexpired terms, as specified:
1 JOHN VIAL - General Contractor Member
Term expires 5/24/92
2 . 7IM RODGER General Public Member
Term expires 4/14/90
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
further resolve that this resolution shall take effect
immediately.
On motion by Councilmember DEXTER seconded by
Councilmember MACKEy the foregoing resolution is
hereby adopted in itsentiretyby ,the following roll-call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS DEXTER, MACKEY, LILLEY, SHIERS AND MAYOR BORGESON
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
