RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO TO COMMENCE NEGOTIATIONS WITH
THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO FOR PROPERTY TAX REVENUE
RELATED TO THE DISSOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Atascadero desires to cause the
dissolution of the Atascadero County Sanitation District and
to cause the district to become a division of the Public
Works Department to be governed by the City Council „ and
WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the Local Agency
Formation Commission of San Luis Obispo County that each
negotiating agency adopt a resolution stating such intention
and noticing the start of negotiations for property tax
revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Atascadero that staff conduct negotiations with the
County of San Luis Obispo for property tax revenue within the
current County Sanitation District .
On motion by -Councilman MACKEY and seconded by
Councilman SHIERS the foregoing resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety on the following vote :
AYES : DIRECTORS DEXTER, LILLEY, MACKEY, SHIERS AND CHAIRMAN BORGESON
NOES : NONE
ABSENT : NONE
