RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING (5) MEMBERS TO
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, five vacancies have occurred on the City Planning
Commission, due to four terms expiring and one resignation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ord . 101 relating to
the establishment of a City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in
appointment to the Planning Commission have been published and
posted ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive 21 applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did , on July 21 , 1988, interview
and consider 21 candidates for appointment to the Planning
Commission and did then vote for specific nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve to appoint GERALDINE BRASHER to the Planning Commis-
sion for the balance of an unexpired term which ends August 1 ,
1990, and to appoint the following individuals to four-year terms
beginning August 1 , 1988, and expiring August 1 , 1992:
1 . GEORGE HIGHLAND
2. DENNIS L CHRI GE
3_ GEORGE LUN
4. KENNETH WAAGE
FURTHERMORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
On motion by Councilmember MACKEY and seconded by
Councilmember LILLEY e the foregoing resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS DEXTER, MACKEY, LILLEY, SHIERS AND MAYOR BORGESON
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
