A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING FOUR (4) MEMBERS TO
THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
I
WHEREAS, four vacancies have occurred on the City Parks &
Recreation Commission due to expiring terms; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No . 101 relating
to the establishment of a City Parks& Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in ap-
pointment to said commission have been published,' and the City
Council did receive seven applications for consideration; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1988, the City Council dial consider 7
candidates for appointment to the Parks & Recreation Commission
and did vote for specific nominees to said commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero
does resolve to make the following appointments for full terms of
four years, expiring June 30, 1992:
1 . Thomas Bend
2. Michael Lara
3. Kenneth Meer
4. Victor Smart
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
further resolve that this resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately.
On motion by Councilmember DEXTER and seconded by
Councilmember MACKEY , the foregoing resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety by the following roll-call vote
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS DEXTER, LILLEY, MACKEY, SHIERS AND MAYOR BORGESON
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
ADOPTED: 7/12/8$
