RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING ( 1 ) MEMBER TO THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, one vacancy has been created on the City Planning
Commission due to . the resignation of Mildred Copelan (pursuant to
Ordinance 101 , relative to her having filed as a candidate for
the June 7, 1988, City Council election) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ord . 101 relating to
the establishment of a City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in
appointment to the Planning Commission have been published and
posted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive 4 applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did', on April 13, 1988, interview
and consider 3 candidates for appointment to the Planning Com-
mission; and
WHEREAS, on April 13, 1988, the City Council did vote for
a specific nomination to the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve to appoint MICHAEL E . TOBEY to the Planning Com-
mission for a term which is due to expire August 1 , 1990.
FURTHERMORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
resolve that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
On motion by Councilmember BOURBEAU and seconded by
Councilmember HANDSITY , the foregoing resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS BORGESON, BOURBEAU, HANDSITY, MACKEY AND MAYOR NORRIS
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
