A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO DESIGNATING ONE WAY TRAFFIC ON A PORTION
OF THE ALLEY TO THE NORTH OF THE CARLTON HOTEL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Section 4-2 .701 et . seq, of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine
the location of one-way streets and to place and maintain
appropriate signs or markings indicating such; and
WHEREAS, The Atascadero Traffic Committee has studied
the traffic situation at this location and has determined
that restricting traffic to one- way travel will alleviate a
congested traffic situation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Atascadero directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and
maintain appropriate signs and markings to establish one-way
travel in the alley to the north of the Carlton Hotel from
Traffic Way east to the intersection with the northerly
alley.
On Motion by Councilman BOURBEAU and seconded
by Councilman MACKEY the foregoing resolution is
hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS BORGESON, BOURBEAU, MACKEY AND MAYOR NORRIS
NOES: NONE
ABSENT : COUNCILMAN HANDSITY
