Subject: C.1. Management Reports. Discussion of Proposed Pickle Ball Courts at Colony Park
Atascadero City Council members:
I hope all of you will vote to fund the proposed permanent outside Pickle ball courts at Colony
Park. The City needs increased recreational opportunities for both current and prospective
citizens of our town. Pickle ball is one of the fastest growing sports for all age groups, and is
especially accessible to the older, rapidly growing portion of the City’s population. As the
population continues to grow these courts will be sorely needed to address people’s desire for
healthy outdoor sports.
